KnowBe4 Volunteers With Habitat for Humanity!

Last month KnowBe4 organized a day with Habitat for Humanity! Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County and West Pasco (HfH) are focused on bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In order to do this, HfH builds and rehabilitates homes with the help of the homeowner families and the community. The Habitat homes are then sold to partner families at no profit and financed with zero-interest loans. Six Knowsters volunteered their time on a Saturday to help out a local Clearwater family.

HFH2-1

At 8 AM the Knowsters met up at the project site and went over the safety procedures and how to handle the equipment. After that, the team got to work!

HFH10

Tim and Sixto started working on installing hurricane shutters, while Nancy, Brittany and Pam started priming and trimming the new home! The home owners also came out to help with the painting and even brought our volunteers empanadas to thank them for their hard work.

The owners chose a beautiful coral pink that livens up the neighborhood. With plenty of water provided to keep the crew hydrated, they finished painting the entire home and installed hurricane proof shutters throughout.

The crew loved being able to work hand in hand with the new owner and get to know the people they were helping. Brittany said "Working with Habitat for Humanity has been on my bucket list for over 10 years. I am so happy I got to work with my KnowBe4 family to help my dream come true!"

Our first volunteer activity with Habitat for Humanity was a huge success! There were a lot of other Knowsters asking for us to do another project so they could be a part of the awesome volunteer work. We can't wait to work with them again in the future!

We want you to be a part of our KnowBe4 team!
