KnowBe4 CEO Stu Sjouwerman Joins University of South Florida Cybersecurity for Executives Advisory Council


Sjouwerman to participate in local leadership opportunity to give back to Tampa Bay area and cybersecurity community

KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced that its CEO Stu Sjouwerman has joined the University of South Florida’s Leadership Council for the Cybersecurity for Executives Certificate Program at USF Muma College of Business.

Sjouwerman, currently the founder and CEO of KnowBe4, is a serial entrepreneur and data security expert with more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Sjouwerman is a five-time Inc 500 award winner, three of which are with his current company KnowBe4. He is also the author of four books, with the latest being “Cyberheist: The Biggest Financial Threat Facing American Businesses.”Stu01-1

Through this newly appointed position on the USF Cybersecurity Advisory Council, Sjouwerman will provide input and leadership through classroom visits, forums and conferences, and by actively participating in student coaching opportunities. The Council supports attendees of the USF Cybersecurity for Executives Certificate Program who are immersed in an intensive, collaborative and educational environment, learning to apply principles and techniques that drive cybersecurity transformation.

The Cybersecurity for Executives Certificate Program at USF Muma College of Business is an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to provide the skills and insights needed to move cybersecurity initiatives forward within organizations.
