Daisuke Tsuru

Daisuke Tsuru is a CISO Advisor at KnowBe4 based in Japan where he helps organizations understand and manage cybersecurity risk. Previously, he served as Head of Information Systems at a major Japanese game development company, leading a large team spanning across cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and IT operations. That experience gives Daisuke a firsthand understanding of the practical challenges organizations face in securing their IT environments while balancing reliability, efficiency, cost, and business priorities. With an MBA and a background in sociology, Daisuke brings both business and human perspectives to cybersecurity. He is particularly interested in organizational culture and the role human behavior plays in strengthening security.
