Tampa Bay channel leader recognized for revenue and partner community growth, as well as improvement in business processes and onboarding
KnowBe4, the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Sara Valtin, VP of Channel, to its prestigious list of 2019 Channel Chiefs. The top IT channel leaders included on this list continually strive to drive growth and revenue in their organization through their channel partners.
Each of the 2019 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to their channel partner programs. Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff as a result of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation.
Valtin has more than 14 years of experience in sales and marketing. As an experienced channel sales professional, with expertise in B2B sales and management, she has increased channel revenue directly by more than 50 percent. Valtin also implemented separate and unique roles within the channel department, with the purpose of creating a smoother onboarding process and better cohesion with current partners. She also selected a new partner portal, which provides for a seamless onboarding process, trains existing partners and improves the tracking of sales and communications with partners.
“The individuals on CRN’s 2019 Channel Chiefs list deserve special recognition for their contribution and support in the development of robust partner programs, innovative business strategies, and significant influence to the overall health of the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We applaud each Channel Chief’s remarkable record of accomplishments and look forward to following their continued success.”
“I’m honored to be recognized as a CRN Channel Chief for 2019 amongst so many distinguished channel leaders,” said Valtin. “Parts of the business world are developing more into a channel structure, and we’re adapting to meet the needs of the future. As a channel professional, I believe that enabling partners to be successful is critical to an organization’s overall success, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to KnowBe4’s accomplishments in the channel market.”
The 2019 CRN Channel Chiefs list, including the 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs, is featured online at www.crn.com/channelchiefs and will appear in the February 2019 issue of CRN.
