“With the increasing number of social engineering attacks, it’s no surprise that organizations all over the world are turning to us to help train their last line of defense – their users,” said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO, KnowBe4. “Industry demand is merely one aspect of why we’ve seen such rapid growth. Another key reason that we’ve experienced hypergrowth recently is because KnowBe4 has earned a reputation within the IT security industry for a high standard of customer service, and that’s something we take pride in. Our company culture is very strong. In fact, we’ve been named a top workplace by numerous publications, including the Tampa Bay Business Journal.”

KnowBe4 recently unveiled new phishing benchmark data that showcases the most at-risk industries. The data found that small insurance companies have the highest percentage of “Phish-proneTM” employees in the small to mid-size organization category. Not-for-profit organizations take the lead in large organizations (1,000 or more employees). The study shows these types of organizations rank higher (in the low thirty percentiles) than the overall average of twenty seven percent across all industries and size organizations. Large business services organizations had the lowest Phish-prone benchmark at nineteen percent.
