Provider of Kevin Mitnick Security Awareness Training and KnowBe4 Compliance Manager Opens Offices in the UK
(East Grinstead, Sussex) – October 2, 2014 – KnowBe4, security company and provider of the Kevin Mitnick Security Awareness Training program to small and medium-sized enterprises, today announced its new sales offices in the United Kingdom. The US company experienced a year-over-year growth of 427% for 2012-2013 and has already surpassed 2013 revenue and growth. With their expansion into EMEA, the company will address the growing demand for security and compliance solutions from European customers by providing a regional office to service these needs.

Ransomware is a type of malicious software designed to lock up user files, encrypt them and demand a payment for decryption, thus extorting money from those unlucky enough to be victimized. The most common way to be infected is by clicking on a link in a phishing email. The effects of ransomware can be devastating for a business and was at the root of 2013’s Target data breach. KnowBe4 helps IT managers mitigate the effects of social engineering by training users and employing phishing tools to keep security top of mind.
